Ah, curtains. So many good puns I need to share but I won’t (instead I’ll leave you with this indelible page from my childhood). That said, I’m currently on the hunt for some new drapes. Coming from a person who’s only ever had blinds or shutters in her bedroom, I’m ready for a change. These curtains from Society6 are made from 100% lightweight polyester, and while they don’t function like black-out curtains, they’re thick enough to keep the sunlight from waking you up on the weekends. They measure out to be 50×84” and are available in single or double panels (which means you can mix and match if you have an eye for that kind of thing – I don’t). I’ve even seen curtains used in garages to hide unsightly storage organization. Here are some new design options I’ve uncovered from the artists at Society6:
HOME IS WHERE MY PLANTS ARE curtain by Kris Tate
Rhombus&Palms curtain by DesigndN
Geometric boho succulents curtain by Anna Alekseeva Kostolom3000
vintage halloween curtain by Sharon Turner
Lake Atitlán II, Guatemala curtain by Luke Gram
Dreamy Flora curtain by Crystal Walen
Happy Mountain curtain by 83 Oranges™
Hand Tools curtain by Elena O’Neill
Minimalism 16 curtain by Mareike Böhmer
In an ongoing effort to support independent artists from around the world, Design Milk is proud to partner with Society6 to offer The Design Milk Dairy, a special collection of Society6 artists’ work curated by Design Milk and our readers.
