It’s funny that I was just writing about tanks and summer weather because the weather in Southern California decided to do a 180 and bring back the colder temperatures! I’m currently bundled up in a throw blanket right now as I write this, but I wouldn’t mind another one. It’s one of those household items that fits anywhere: behind your work chair to fend off the chilly office A/C, strewn across your bed as a decorative touch, a couple on the couch for movie nights, in a basket for your next picnic – it’s a must-have in my opinion. Society6 offers throw blankets designed by its collective of artists so that you don’t need to buy that ubiquitous cable-knit blanket from your regular department store, you can choose from all sorts of fun designs! Here are some of my favorites from their newest designs:
Tan Tunnel blanket by Circa 78 Designs
Funny Cactus Jungle blanket by Cafelab
Simple Connections 5 blanket by Fernando Vieira
Herringbone Color blanket by Project M
Dots, Circles and Dashes blanket by Tangerine-Tane
Bonfire blanket by Urban Wild Studio
Minimal Complexity blanket by Cadinera
YX02 blanket by Georgiana Paraschiv
In an ongoing effort to support independent artists from around the world, Design Milk is proud to partner with Society6 to offer The Design Milk Dairy, a special collection of Society6 artists’ work curated by Design Milk and our readers. Proceeds from The Design Milk Dairy help us bring Design Milk to you every day.
