Our Beauty Buyer’s Top 5 Must-Try Fragrances by BrandsExclusive

A new season calls for a fresh scent, but with every designer and celebrity with a fragrance to their name, sometimes the choice can be overwhelming! Luckily, our Beauty Buyer, Jess, is on hand with her expert tips on what to try, no matter what sort of scent tickles your fancy…

Fruity

If you prefer scents that are sweet and fruity, try Bvlgari Omnia Amethyst. Featuring strong notes of pink grapefruit mixed with iris and Bulgarian rose, it’s my fruity favourite.

Floral

For a classic floral fragrance, you can’t go past Marc Jacobs’ Daisy Kiss. A vibrant update on the beloved original, Daisy Kiss is a sweet and fresh scent with pomelo, apricot, osmanthus and peony, finished off with a flourish of white woods.

Woody

For a fragrance that vibrantly woody, yet refreshingly floral, I absolutely love Paco Rabanne Lady Million. Evoking notes of neroli, bitter orange, gardenia and amber, this is a truly dazzling scent for summertime.

Citrus

Clinique Happy makes me happy! Fruity, floral and flirty – this fragrance has strong notes of pink grapefruit, orange, mandarin, bayleaf as well as melon, melati, boysenberry, orchid, lily, magnolia, mimosa and musk.

Spicy

Ready to spice up your life? Go for Tom Ford Black Orchid. Beyond it’s ultra-luxe bottle, the scent is made with the rare black orchid (hello fancy!) and filled with beautiful, sultry wooden notes like black plum, truffle and patchouli. Be warned, it’s for the bold not the faint-hearted.
