2020 Gift Guide: Kids

2020 Gift Guide: Kids

We wish we grew up in this day and age because nowadays, there are just so many cool toys and gift ideas that we would have loved playing with when we were younger! From books and posters to stuffed animals and dollhouses, the options are seemingly endless for gifting the kiddo in your life something that’s unique, fun, and of course, modern. Here are 10 gift ideas that span a range of ages, from infant to toddler and beyond. (They might even bring out the kid in you!)

Stackers Blocks by Botanicool \\\ $43
It’s a fact: kids love to stack things and knock them down over and over (and over) again. The novel concept doesn’t tire quickly, which means these stacking blocks will be reached for over and over (and over) again.

Poster by Mado \\\ approx. $58
If you ask me to pick a favorite print from Mado’s poster collection, I really can’t. These colorful and playful prints are so fun that I think both kids and adults alike would enjoy them as a present for the holidays.

Aurora Erasable Markers by Poketo \\\ $28
How fun would these markers be as a stocking stuffer? I already added them to my cart for my own kid but that’s probably because I want to steal them at some point, too.

Baby Pacifier by Loui Baby \\\ $13
Another stocking stuffer idea! For the newest member of the family, these pacifiers come in a range of sophisticated colors (a welcomed alternative from the garish options usually available). For something that sits right in the middle of a baby’s face, we’re glad this modern option is available.

An ABC of Equality by Chana Ginelle Ewing \\\ $16
Books are probably the best gift to give kids that are also almost always parent-approved (especially minimalist parents who are trying to keep their kid’s stuff from taking over the entire house *hand wave*). Why not start them early on talking about important topics like equality or diversity?

Stuffed Animals by CozyMoss \\\ approx. $80
These stuffed animals cannot be any cuter. Created in Berlin, each one has its own name, image and story. CozyMoss also makes additional toy clothes that we wish came in our size.

Uncle Goose To Tonet Blocks Set \\\ $24
These black/white/natural blocks are great for newborns (who love contrasting colors) and older toddlers (who you can always count on to happily knock down a tower of blocks.

Wooden Stacking Tower by Sabo \\\ $58
Let’s face the facts: your kid’s toys will eventually take over the rest of your house. With these wooden ring stackers though, you won’t mind seeing them everywhere as they come in modern colorways that will blend in with the rest of your home decor.

Wooden Dominoes Set – Frank Lloyd Wright \\\ $30
This dominoes set features Wright’s iconic geometric shape patterns on one side and the traditional dominoes dots on the other, providing two ways to play and endless amounts of fun.

Miniko Dollhouse by Miniio \\\ approx. $233
The mid-century modern home of our childhood dreams! Enough said. *adds to cart*
