We can’t seem to get outdoor furniture out of our minds this time of year, so today we’re sharing Skagerak’s modular outdoor collection – Tradition. Designed by Povl Eriksen, the series was created around the thought that form does not follow function, rather they go together. Tradition is a flexible design solution that can adapt to your specific needs without compromise on aesthetic, comfort or quality. Create a sofa large enough to accommodate all of your neighbors or a two-seat sofa that’s perfect for that out of the way nook. What we’re saying is, we love this streamlined modular collection that knows no bounds and think you will too.

Made from powder-coated aluminum, Tradition’s frames are light yet sturdy, with the coating helping to reduce the impact of moisture, UV lighting, scratches and natural corrosion. There’s nothing worse than not being able to sit on your outdoor furniture after it rains because the cushions are sopping wet – not so in this case. The open-cell structure of the foam interior allows water and air to pass through for a significantly shorter drying time. And the covers are Oeko-tex certified agora panama fabric, a synthetic, cotton-like fabric that’s water-repellent, dirt-repellent and mildew-resistant. In other words, ready to take on most anything you’re likely to throw at it.
