In partnership with Dims., a direct-to-consumer contemporary furnishings brand, Takagi Homstvedt has designed the company’s first-ever sofa, the Alfa. Inspired by the sleek curves of Italian cars in the 60s, the Alfa sofa is characterized by its rounded silhouette. The cushions are noticeably plush yet tidy, giving the sofa its structured look. Another distinguishing feature is the long legs that disappear into the sofa’s upswept backside, balancing the design’s substantial size with an element of lightness.
The Alfa is offered in a 3-seater and a 2-seater option in six sustainably-produced Kvadrat textile colorways: Primer Green, Mélange Blue, Shell Pink, Toasted Ecru, Ikat Red and Off-White. The legs are available in Ash Wood and Black Powder-Coated Steel. Today, the Alfa sofa is available at dims.world.
