The cancellation of major trade shows due to the pandemic has challenged the design industry to think of creative new ways to share new launches, news and collections, and CLOSEUP is one of them. Brought to you by the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) and WantedDesign Manhattan, CLOSEUP is a new two-day trade event happening October 28-29th, 2020 and is inspired by a TV show format. The show, which will be broadcast live from a stage set at Industry City, Brooklyn, will get you up close to 27 featured design brands and companies from Europe and North America.
The full schedule can be found on CLOSEUP. Day 1 will be dedicated to contract and residential lighting and will feature new collections including: Flock of Light by Studio Toer presented by Moooi; The Flutes presented by Juniper; Cloud and Ebb by David Trubridge Design presented by wakaNINE; and more lighting collections from Rosie Li Studio, James Dieter and LOREKFORM.
Day 2 is about designing healthy and sustainable interiors, and will feature live streams from NYC, Paris and Amsterdam presented by brands like Ligne Roset, Laufen, Mohawk Group and more.
CLOSEUP will be broadcast live but can also be viewed on-demand post-event. Pre-registration is mandatory and space is limited, so be sure to buy your tickets soon!
