Wall clocks have the ability to make a functional statement as wall art or objet d’art, whether you have batteries in it or not (guilty!). And while keeping track of the hour and minute might be the last thing you feel like doing during summer, sometimes it’s a must – so it may as well look good doing it. Here are eight favorites from our clock collection that will ease the pain of it already being July, if even just a little bit.
Banker’s Wall Clock by Arne Jacobsen Watches & Clocks
A personal favorite, the Banker’s Wall Clock was originally designed in 1971 for the Danish National Bank. It features a concave dial, a double convex mineral glass lens and is available in three sizes – 8.3 inches, 11.4 inches and 18.9 inches in diameter.
Factory Ocher Yellow Station Large Clock by cloudnola
Where traditional meets modern, this bold wall clock with yellow edging is high design that can be at home in nearly every space. A statement on its own or paired with other delightful wall hangings, you’re sure to love it and its 17.7 inch diameter presence.
Blackened Oak RESET Clock by MARdiROS
A minimal design with both natural beauty and a very clever touch. As every minute passes the outer edge lowers slightly, and at the top of every hour it resets to do it all over again.
Analogue Aluminum Clock Digital Clock by Gingko
Inspired by a traditional clock face, but updated with digital technology, it’s an objet d’art that’s sure to stand out. Place it on a surface or mount it to a wall, then keep an eye on the second dot as it circles the face and appears to magically dance.
Riki Steel Clock by Lemnos
For those who prefer a more graphic statement, the bold numbers and needles of this clock should hit the spot. Accented by a subtle steel matte frame, you’ll know what time it is from anywhere in the room.
TIAN Multicolor Wall Clock by Tian Watches
This is a limited series wall clock, 100% made and hand assembled in Bermoll, Germany. There will be only 25 pieces available, and each clock will be marked with a limited edition label. Check out the story behind it all here!
Delta Oak Wood Clock by Lawa Design
Inspired by the sundial, this clock uses shadow play to tell time. “Folds” on the surface indicate the hours as they pass by each untreated Oak wood panel.
Flipping Out Gray Flip Clock by cloudnola
Fun, clever and stylish, this open clock keeps track of the hours and minutes of your day as it flips through its spools of numbers. Hang it on a wall or place it on a surface top.
