Uruguay-based design studio MUAR Diseño created a collection of contemporary seating that merges three different materials. HUM combines beech wood, rattan, and velvet with a modern color palette that leads to cozy seating full of contrasts.
HUM includes a lounge armchair, three-seater sofa, and chaise lounge, each with beech-framed woven cane backs and sides, displaying a use of light and heavier materials. The smoothness of the velvet with the more textured woven cane results in a visual contrast, as does the choice of bright orange and deep green fabrics for the cushion.
