Part-time furniture designer and professional commercial photographer, Stian Herdal (aka HRDL) impressed us last year with his organic midcentury-inspired, splayed leg turntable stand and storage solution. HRDL returns with a new console wrapped in the same nostalgia-tinged modernity, one ideal for pairing with collections and accoutrements of yore alike or the latest technologies cluttering your media system.
Inspired by classic wood media credenzas of yesteryear and featuring four tapered pencil legs reinforced with cross braces, The Console is characterized by its solid wood tambour doors designed to smoothly slide open, revealing an interior easily adaptable for most component and media storage needs, whether it be a vintage tube amplifier, gaming console, or streaming media device.
The cabinet part is fully assembled, and available in two options: light gray Valchromat with walnut or black Valchromat with oak, both options for $2,190 and requiring eight weeks lead time. Further information available at HRDL.
