Minimalist Sideboards by Afteroom for Reform

Minimalist Sideboards by Afteroom for Reform

Afteroom has designed a series of sideboards for Copenhagen-based Reform, using IKEA’s METOD cabinets as the base. The sideboards reflect the calm and elegant design philosophy of the designers, believing that basic straight stripes are the most fundamental element of an interior architecture.

The sideboard features graceful lines that allow it to be easily integrated into any room and seamlessly matched with other furniture for a look that is clean and uncluttered. The wavy facade plays with light and shadow to create more depth along the surface.

The sideboards are available in two sizes and four different colors, which can be combined to make a total of eight different configurations. The fronts of the sideboards are produced in HDF, a stronger material versus MDF, and opens using IKEA’s default push system. The sideboards come with a top plate made in half-inch black Corian and powder-coated black steel legs.
