Gebrüder Thonet Vienna (GTV) and Michael Anastassiades have partnered to once again reimagine the signature N.200 lounge chair with bent beech wood and woven cane. No one can deny the clean, minimal, timelessness of this piece, known for its heritage as much as its adaptability.
The N.200 has already won the Red Dot Best of the Best 2020 in the Home and Seating Furniture category, adding to Gebrüder Thonet Vienna’s accomplishments. GTV continues to bring together tradition and innovation through their style lines with the aid of continuous research and an innovative approach to modern design.
What started in Vienna in 1853 as the Gebrüder Thonet company by Michael Thonet, has managed to stay in the family for over 150 years and is run by his descendants in Friedberg. In 1976 they changed the name formally to Gebrüder Thonet Vienna and their contemporary designs continually add to the world of modern furniture.
