Colony Adds Four More to Its Collective of Independent American Designers

Colony Adds Four More to Its Collective of Independent American Designers

The last time we caught up with New York City design co-op Colony, founder Jean Lin was presenting an exhibition for NYCxDESIGN. Since then, she’s added more designers to the co-op’s lineup of independent American designers. Grain, Hollis+Morris, Phaedo and Studio Paolo Ferrari have joined the collective which now consists of 17 designers: Allied Maker, Codor Design, Earnest Studio, Erickson Aesthetics, Farrah Sit, Flat Vernacular, Fort Standard, Hiroko Takeda, KWH Furniture, Meg Callahan, Moving Mountains, Poritz and Studio, and Vonnegut/Kraft.

Grain Design

You’ve probably already seen Grain’s handmade braided wool rugs on Instagram and Pinterest. They also create furniture and lighting offerings and are committed to social, environmental and sustainable design practices.
