Loll Designs Creates Emergency Hospital Field Bed to Aid Pandemic

Loll Designs Creates Emergency Hospital Field Bed to Aid Pandemic

With the current pandemic still raging on, thoughtful companies are temporarily pivoting their focus in order to help in any way they can. One such company is Minnesota-based Loll Designs, creators of outdoor furnishings made from a recycled plastic material. The company got to work and designed an emergency hospital field bed out of their hygienic High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) material. Since they produce their outdoor furniture from HDPE, they have the recyclable material in-stock and ready to go making hospital beds should they be of need. Not only is the material hygienic, it’s easy to clean which is a critical factor in the medical field, especially when dealing with a highly contagious virus.

We want to help out. We looked at all the PPE that people on the front lines are asking for and it seems a lot are stepping up to produce the face masks. With our unique manufacturing ability, a field hospital bed is something we can do that the general public can’t. The bed is ready to go. We have the design, material on hand, the machines, and most importantly the people to do it. We are sending out a PDF document showing the bed to anyone who is connected to the emergency field hospitals like the U.S. Corp of Engineers and the National Guard.
