Among the collections that Mitab launched at this year’s Stockholm Furniture Fair, one of the most eye-catching designs is the ample, curvy Dapper seating family by Swedish designer Mattias Stenberg. To create the kind of organic form of this chubby seating system, voluptuous upholstery had to be uniquely sculpted around a robust and slim steel frame.
With rounded edges and friendly curves, the sofa is entirely welcoming – like a lush hug around your body. Yet when you get up, the bouncy upholstery springs back to retain shape.
