PRISM DESIGN recently completed an office redesign for unbot inc., an IT company based in Shanghai. The nature of the design allows for easy expansion with flexible spaces ready to take on new people when needed. Overall, the office now allows for communication between employees in a relaxing environment that aims to foster creativity and workplace collaboration.
Surrounding the loft workspace is a net that gives workers a place to lie down and relax if they need to de-stress.
A playful spiral staircase leads to the loft without taking up too much space.
The curves in the design were inspired by the Möbius strip, which became the symbol of creation, exchange, manufacturing, success, and challenge in the office.
