The Stammplatz Chair Designed By Alfredo Häberli

The Stammplatz Chair Designed By Alfredo Häberli

Inspired by history, this modern chair is a simple design that hides a detailed, well-thought out chair. Designed by Alfredo Häberli for Quodes, the Stammplatz chair was created to accompany the Stammtisch table range. Both are inspired by the traditional handmade wooden chairs often seen in the Swiss Alps.

The Stammplatz chair has three distinct parts — its sharp legs, a sleek, laser-cut seat, and the backrest. The edge of the seat has a subtle slant inwards, creating a more comfortable sitting experience. The chair comes with our without padding, and is available is ash or oak wood.
