John Eadon is a maker/designer hailing from New Warwickshire who is set to launch his brand new furniture collection at next month’s London Design Fair. The MIMA Collection looks to spindle furniture, particularly Windsor Chairs, for inspiration to achieve the lightweight, minimalist aesthetic that show in the final results.
Eadon took his love of plants and let that influence the forms as the spindles beautifully let light pass through, while allowing the plants to hang through them. Each piece is handmade paying careful attention to the wood’s character (British hardwoods) and design details, like exposed joints. The MIMA collection includes the Record Table, Magazine Table, Table Lamp, Candle Holders, Plant Stand, and Shelving.
